Attirée très jeune par le yoga et l’Inde, Lara Nila se rend à 23 ans dans ce pays où elle y passe huit années, à la recherche du Soi dans l’Himalaya en sadhu pendant 2 ans puis en étudiante de musique indienne à l’université de Calcutta (Rabindra bharati university) et auprès de son Maître Lacchu Maharaj ji, à Varanasi. Ce dernier, grand joueur de tabla mais aussi maître de tantra et Jyotish est toujours son inspiration et guru, bien qu’il ne soit plus sur cette terre depuis 2016. Nila est ERYT 500 (Experimented Registered yoga teacher) auprès de yoga alliance depuis 2014 et donne des cours sur Genève et en Valais entre ses voyages. Elle est également diplomée en astrologie indienne et ayurveda auprés de l’université du docteur David Frawley (American institute of vedic science) ainsi qu en massages aupres du Vaidya Joseph Philipp. En parallèle à ses cours et consultations, son projet est d’ouvrir dans les montagnes suisses un centre de scences vediques (yoga, ayurveda, Jyotish et musique Hindustani) afin de partager la culture indienne,
