Attirée très jeune par le yoga et l’Inde, Lara Nila se rend à 23 ans dans ce pays où elle y passe huit années, à la recherche du Soi dans l’Himalaya en sadhu pendant 2 ans puis en étudiante de musique indienne à l’université de Calcutta (Rabindra bharati university) et auprès de son Maître Lacchu Maharaj ji, à Varanasi. Ce dernier, grand joueur de tabla mais aussi maître de tantra et Jyotish est toujours son inspiration et guru, bien qu’il ne soit plus sur cette terre depuis 2016. Nila est ERYT 500 (Experimented Registered yoga teacher) auprès de yoga alliance depuis 2014 et donne des cours sur Genève et en Valais entre ses voyages. Elle est également diplomée en astrologie indienne ainsi qu’en ayurveda auprés de l’université du docteur David Frawley (American institute of vedic science) et poursuit ses études via d’autres écoles en Inde. En parallèle à ses cours et consultations, son projet est d’ouvrir dans les montagnes suisses un centre de retraite et d’enseignement de culture indienne comprenant le yoga, l’ayurveda, l’astrologie indienne, la musique classique indienne etc… et offrir des stages et formations accessible à tous.

Attracted by yoga and India at a very young age, Lara Nila went to this country at 23, where she spent eight years, in search of the Inner Self in the Himalayas as a sadhu for 2 years then as a student of Indian music at the University of Calcutta. (Rabindra bharati university) and with her Master Lacchu Maharaj, in Varanasi. The latter, a great tabla player but also a master of tantra and Jyotish, is still her inspiration and Guru despite his departure from this world in 2016. In parallel to her courses and consultations, her project is to open in the swiss mountains of Valais a retreat and teaching center of Indian culture including yoga, ayurveda, Indian astrology, Indian classical music etc … and to offer courses and training accessible to all.
